Wheels to Frame Assembly

This page describes how to attach the wheels to the motors.

Parts Needed

Place the junction box lid on the Interface Lip assembly by inserting it under two of the tabs at about a 15-degree angle then lower and push to snap it beneath the other two tabs.

Flip the Frame assembly upside down with the junction box lid resting on a flat surface.

Fully Insert the Wheel Coupler assembly on to the shaft of the motor by aligning the “D” pattern on the Wheel Coupler with the “D” pattern on the motor shaft .

Ensure that the ribbed side of the Coupler body is facing the motor.

Use the 3mm Drive Hex L-Key and tighten the two screws on the wheel coupler assembly.

Try to apply an even amount of turns to each screw.

Insert an M4 x45mm screw from the flat side in one of the 4 holes on the Flange.

Align the inner hub of the wheel to the motor wheel coupler and place the Flange with the M4 x 45mm screw on the outer hub center of the wheel with the M4 x45mm screw protruding to the motor wheel coupler assembly.

Using the flange to couple the wheel to the wheel coupler.

Partially screw the M4 x 45mm screw into one of the holes on the wheel coupler assembly then Insert another M4 x 45mm screw into the flange and partially screw it into the wheel coupler assembly.

Insert the remaining M4 x 45mm screws through the Flange and tighten to the motor wheel coupler assembly using the 3mm drive hex L-key

Repeat steps 3-8 for each wheel.
