πŸš—Obstacle Course Tips

Overview

Obstacle courses, be they make-shift or prefabricated allows for students to grow their coding skills with the Mantis Code software. Working within a block-based coding environment, students will have the ability to write code for an obstacle course. They will even put their coding skills to the test in a coding venture for competing to be the fastest through a course. The focus on coding in this module will culminate with students seeing other career pathways in coding.

Objective

Students Will:

  1. Design an obstacle course that can have multiple pathways to completion.

  2. Understand how the different PWM settings affect motor drive and direction.

  3. Compete to design code that directs the rover to the finish in the fastest time possible.
